Join us for the inaugural Arizona Speedgolf Open, a fast, fun, and competitive one-day event at Encanto 18 Golf Course, located in the heart of Phoenix. This event welcomes elite competitors, amateur Speedgolfers, and newcomers alike, offering multiple divisions to match your level of play.

Whether you're going solo or teaming up, this is your chance to experience Speedgolf in an exciting, high-energy yet welcoming format. Find your division and register today! Players are welcome to register for both the individual competition and the team competition.

TOURNAMENT FORMATS & DIVISIONS

The event will feature morning tee times (6:00 AM – 8:40 AM) with 4-minute intervals starting from Hole 1.

🔹 SPEEDGOLF FORMAT | (Strokes + Minutes)

• 18-Hole Individual (Elite Open & Age Groups) – $125
  For elite and age-group competitors looking to test their Speedgolf skills over a full round.
• 9-Hole Individual (Age Groups) – $75
  For those looking for a shorter but competitive Speedgolf experience.
• 9-Hole Team Alternate Shot (Overall, Gender, Mixed) – $75 per player
  Compete with a partner in this fast-paced team format.
  📝 Players may register for both individual and team divisions.

• Encanto 18 Golf Course (Par 70, 6,458 yards, 70.0 rating, 114 slope)
• Tees Based on Division:
  • Men’s Elite Open & Age Groups (Under 50): Blue Tees
  • Women’s Elite Open & Age Groups (Under 50): Red Tees
  • Men’s Age Groups (50+): White Tees
  • Women’s Age Groups (50+): Red Tees
  • Juniors (14-17): White Tees
  • Mixed Team: Each player competes from their designated tee

ENTRY FEES

Your entry includes greens fees, range balls, tournament swag (shirt size required at checkout), snacks & refreshments, and the chance to win awards, prizes, and cash purses. Sponsorships may increase player benefits.

PRACTICE ROUNDS & SOCIAL EVENTS

⛳ Speedgolf Practice Round (At Player’s Discretion)

• Tee Off: Must start at first light
• Booking: Notify the golf course at least one day in advance
• Rates:
  • 9 Holes: $18
  • 18 Holes: $22

⛳ Traditional Golf Practice Round (At Player’s Discretion)

• Booking: Reserve a tee time at Phoenix Parks Golf or call 602-534-4653
• Special Rate: Event participants receive the Phoenix cardholder rate

TOURNAMENT RULES & EQUIPMENT

• The 2025 SGUSA Official Rules of Speedgolf will govern play.
• USGA rules apply, with Rule 27-1 (lost ball & out-of-bounds) modified to a 1-stroke penalty.
• Official timing starts at your tee time and stops at the finish line.
• All-in-one clubs (AIOs) are permitted.
• No Equipment on Greens: Players cannot place or drop clubs/bags on the putting green (1-stroke penalty per violation).
• Finish with All Equipment: All gear must be carried across the finish line (1-stroke penalty per violation).

VOLUNTEERS & SCOREKEEPERS

Every player will be assigned a volunteer scorekeeper, who will:
✅ Mark their player's strokes & time
✅ Assist in locating golf balls
✅ Provide hydration & spare golf balls if requested

Players may bring their own scorekeeper.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up by selecting the Volunteer option.
